I love the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. I really love being in it.
The varnishing day is very special. Meeting up with old friends and making new ones.
Taking people around is a treat. I've been to the show many times since it opened and I always spot something fabulous that I managed to miss previously. I'm always pleased to see how busy it is. It seems at capacity at any time of the day, any day of the week.
I have two paintings in this year. I really like the rooms they are in. The Cornilia Parker room is colourful vibrant and funny. Humour has not been over looked.
