I was lucky enough to be able to use the much larger studio of Sculptor Mat Kemp for this event which enabled me to show many more paintings than usual. As taxing as these events are I really love meeting people and talking about painting and the various subject matters. I'm always surprised that there is so much enthusiasm for it all. It's good way find out what people think and it's become a really important part of my practice. It feels good for the soul when buyers come back for more or telling you how much they have been enjoying previous purchases. Buying art is not necessarily a practical thing to do and I'm made up when people are moved to spend their hard earned money on what might be an emotional whim.
