My painting (titled above) has been chosen for a unique show at The Battersea Arts Centre.

I'm not sure what the organisers have in mind with this show.

Whether its celebrating the on going rebirth of the building or commiserating the (almost) final disappearance from the water front vista with the encroaching investment apartments.

I am using the opportunity to say fair well to my Thames-side muse of many years.

When you stood out on your own your were an inspiration. I liked the area for its apparent abandonment and forgotten moorings it was visually and historically interesting. I wont lament for long though.

I am actually looking forward to what will be happening in and around the site.
